C T Online Desk: Elderly journalist Mostafa Kamal Pasha, a member of the Chittagong Journalists Union and former member of the North District Awami League, died at the city’s medical center at 10am on Friday (April 15th). He was 68 years old at the time of his death. He has left many admirers including 3 sons and 1 daughter to mourn his death.. Funeral prayers of journalist Mostafa Kamal Pasha will be held in front of Kazir Dewri Mosque at 2 pm.
The second janaza was held in front of Chittagong Press Club at 2.30 pm. He was buried at the family graveyard after the 3rd Janaza at Dhalai village in Hathazari. Mostafa Kamal Pasha was born in 1952 at Mir Bari in Dhalai Union of Hathazari upazila. Chattogram journalist community prayed for salvation of the departed soul and prayed for sympathy to the members of the deceased family.
He was an active member of the 6-point movement led by Bangabandhu, the mass uprising of 1969 and the war of liberation. He started his career in the daily Azadi in February 1972.
