C T Online Desk: A devastating fire broke out at a plastic factory in Shaheed Nagar Bou Bazar area of capita’s Lalbagh on Friday noon.
Rojina Akter, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire originated around 12:06pm.
On information, twelve firefighting units rushed there at 12:14pm and have been trying to extinguish the blaze till filling of this report, she said.
However, the origin of the fire could not be known immediately and no causality has been reported so far, she added.
