C T Online Desk: Eid holidays are starting from April 17 at Chittagong University. The university will reopen on May 11 after a 24-day holiday. During this time the residential hall will be open and the shuttle train will run on the closing schedule. The holiday was announced in a press release signed by the university’s Deputy Registrar (Academic) SM Akbar Hossain.
According to the notification, all classes of the university will be closed on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Shabe Qadr, May Day and Ramadan. University Registrar (Acting) SM Monirul Hasan said the academic activities of the university will be closed from April 16 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. However, administrative activities will continue. The residential hall will remain open at the time of closure. Shuttle trains will also run on the closing schedule. The campus will run as usual from May 11 after the holidays, sources said.
