C T Online Desk: Bangladesh Red Crescent Society has provided financial assistance of Tk 4,500 to 400 distressed families in the city. The Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury was the chief guest at the function held at a community center in Bahaddarhat at on Monday morning.
He said that Chittagong City Corporation and Chittagong City Red Crescent Society stood by the homeless and helpless people in Corona pendemic. Distributed safety supplies, food and cash during the long epidemic.
These two organizations are providing assistance to the patients affected by corona. With the help of BRAC Bangladesh, a 250-bed isolation center has been set up at 12 points for the medical treatment of patients. Initiatives were taken to introduce corona specialized medical services in hospitals along with corona prevention measures by providing awareness miking system, hand sanitizer system and comprehensive masks.
