C T Online Desk: Jan 4, 2022- Thirty five more people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24-hour till this morning here as the infection rate was
found 2.98 percent.
Health officials said the Covid-19 cases are rising again as 35 more
persons were reported positive for the lethal virus after testing 1175
samples in a day.
With the new infections, the number of Covid-19 patients raised to
102,716.
The total number of recovered patients from the deadly virus rose to 94,932 with the curing of 21 more people during the time.
Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram district, said the
percentage of recovery rate is 92.46.
With no new fatality recorded during the period, the death toll remains steady at 1,332.
A total of 212 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different designated hospitals here, the sources said.
