C T Online Desk: BNP leader Ishraque Hossain has been detained form Motjheel area of the capital.
Police detained Ishraque, the son of late Dhaka mayor and BNP leader Sadeque Hossain Khoka, when he was distributing leaflets among the people protesting the abnormal rise in prices of daily commodities.
Ishraque contested in the Dhaka South City Corporation election in 2020 as the party’s mayor candidate but lost.
