Sumaiya Meem stands first in medical admission test

C T Online Desk: Sumaiya Moslem Meem has stood first in the medical admission test of 2021-22 academic session with 292.5 marks.

Meem’s father Moslem Uddin is an assistant professor in a college and her mother Khadiza Khatun is an government employee. Their home is at Dumuria of Khulna.

It is learnt that Meem appeared in the admission test at Khulna Medical College centre. She got 92.5 marks in the written part of the admission test. She got 200 marks from her SSC and HSC results.

Meem passed her SSC examination from Dumuria Girls School under Jessore Board in 2019 and passed her HSC from Khulna MM City College in 2021.

She obtained GPA-5 in both the examinations. Meem resides with her parents at TB area at Moulavipara Boundary Road in Khulna city.

This year, a total of 1 lakh 39 thousand candidates took part in the medical admission test. Of the candidates, some 79thousand 339 candidates achieved 40 or above marks. The pass rate is 55.13percent. There are a total of  4,350 seats, including quotas, in public medical colleges.
