C T Online Desk: April 2, 2022- No more people have tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday in the city and district, remaining the caseload steady at
126, 628 in the district since the pandemic began in March, 2020.
The zero figures touched four times in the district since the pandemic began,
Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram, told BSS today.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients rose to 1,25,201 with the recovery
of 97 more people till this morning, raising the average recovery rate to
98.87 percent in the district, he added.
Besides, all the positive cases of the lethal virus have, so far, been
brought under necessary treatment while 76 were kept in isolation units of
different dedicated hospitals till today.
As no more fatality was reported during the last couple of weeks, the death
toll remained static at 1,362, the health official mentioned.
