C T Online Desk: March 29, 2022- The average recovery rate of Covid-19
patients has crossed the 98.32 percent mark in the district.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients reached 1,24,965 with the recovery
of 497 more people till Monday morning, raising the average recovery rate to
98.71 percent in the district, Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of
Chattogram told BSS today.
Only one person was detected positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours after
testing 400 samples in 14 Covid-19 laboratories in the city and district.
The Covid-19 infection rate is 0.25 percent till this morning.
Meanwhile, the total number of casualties remained steady at 1,362 in
the district as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours ending at
8 am today.
The total number of Covid-19 patients climbed to 1,26,615 in Chattogram
district after detecting only one new patient, the health official mentioned.
A total of 68 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different
designated hospitals here, he added.
