AL won’t  be allowed to play with minorities: Gayeshwar

C T Online Desk: BNP Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy has warned that Awami League will not be allowed to play using the minority card. He said this while addressing the chief guest at the Radhasthami function at Hathajari Sri Sri Pundrikdham in Chittagong on Tuesday  night. Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said that the politics of Awami League is the politics of division. They have always tried to destabilize the country by dividing the minority or the majority. But Awami League has done the most harm to Hindus. Millions of rupees have been smuggled out of the country in the last 15 years. Whose money was laundered? Your money has been laundered. Who did it? They should be punished for all crimes. The trial will be held on the soil of Bangladesh. He said that the students were shot dead like birds. Last 15 years people could not speak, could not vote. Everything became centered around a team and a family. But after August 5, someone from the Awami League was killed? They have fled in fear of common people. Because their politics was against the people and the politics of exploitation. We BNP leaders are not afraid. We do politics for the people. How many cases, how many executions have been done in the last 15 years. BNP activists continued their agitation with difficulty. But did not escape from this country. This is the commitment of BNP towards the country and people. Inaugurating the event, BNP Central Joint Organizing Secretary Barrister Mir Helal said, Hathazari is a unique example of Bangladesh communal harmony. Here Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians of all religions are safely and fearlessly observing the rituals of their respective religions. A wonderful religious harmony prevails among us in the mingling of people of all religions. Although there have been riots in different parts of the country due to various religious issues at different times, the people of this area have maintained communal harmony for hundreds of years. It is here that the Jame Masjid (Big Mosque) and the ‘Sri Sri Sitakali Central Temple’ of South Asia’s traditional Hathajari Madrasa were built more than a hundred years ago. On one side of the wall, the sound of Azan is coming from the mosque every day. The bells are regularly ringing in the nearby temple. There is no complaint against anyone. Mir Helal also said that the accomplices of fascism repeatedly tried to create chaos in the peaceful Hathazari by religious incitement, but the conscious people of Hathazari did not fall into the trap of the conspirators and will not do so in the future. Our leader  Tariq Rahman said, “No matter where our address is on the map of Bangladesh, our identity is the same, we are all Bangladeshis”. BNP leaders and workers are ready to stop any conspiracy to protect communal harmony. Swapan Chowdhury, Vice President of Pundarik Vidyanidhi Smriti Sangsad presided over the meeting moderated by journalist Biplab Partha and member of Shrikrishna Temple promoter Gauranga Das. Barrister Mir Helal, Central Joint Organizing Secretary of BNP, inaugurated the event, Chittagong Metropolitan Branch Member Secretary Bappi Dey, Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad Hathajari Branch President Govind Prasad Mahajan were also present on the occasion.
