C T Online Desk: January 1, 2022- Chattogram district recorded lowest
Covid-19 positivity rate of 0.60 percent while only nine fresh cases were
reported after testing 1,479 samples during the last 24 hours till Saturday
morning.
With the newly infected cases, the number of coronavirus (COVID-19)
patients stands at 1,02,642 in the district.
The total number of recovered patients from the deadly virus rose to
94,823 with the curing of 32 more people in the past 24 hours.
Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram district, said the
percentage of recovery rate is 92.37
With no new death recorded during the period, the death toll steady at
1,332.
A total of 233 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different
designated hospitals here, the sources added.
