C T Online Desk: March 7, 2022- The average recovery rate of Covid-19 patients has crossed the 92.10 percent mark in Chattogram district.
Health officials said the number of positive cases decreases amid declining positivity rate and rising recovery rate of infected patients as the spread
of the deadly virus is declining every day.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients reached 116,562 with the recovery of 1,161 more people till Monday morning, raising the average recovery rate
to 92.10 percent in the district, Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of
Chattogram, told BSS today.
A total of 11 people were detected positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours
after testing 1,115 samples in 14 Covid-19 laboratories in the city and
district.
The Covid-19 infection rate is 1.08 percent till Monday morning.
Meanwhile, the total number of casualties remained steady at 1,362 in the
district as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am
today.
The total number of Covid-19 patients climbed to 1,26,555 in Chattogram
district after detecting 11 new patients, Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon
of Chattogram, told BSS today.
A total of 131 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different
designated hospitals here.
