After the covid period Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to Italy opened the way for Bangladeshis to Italy through agricultural/seasonal visa, which was closed since 2012. In this process, lakhs of Bangladeshis get the opportunity to go there in 2021, 2022, 2023 which was basically a beneficial thing for the country. Among the EU countries, the highest number of Bangladeshis live in Italy. The second highest number of Bangladeshis live in France and the third largest country is Spain. Bangladesh ranks third among the countries where migrants send remittances from Italy. 15 percent of the total remittances sent from Italy go to Bangladesh. According to the report, the Bangladeshi immigrants who came to Italy in the 90s were mainly divided into two main streams. The first group is highly educated and skilled young and single male migrants. They started coming to Italy for their social status and better life. On the other side are the unskilled single male migrants who come to Italy with the aim of supporting their families back home with money earned through a job. By 2025, the current Italian government will take in 452,000 people through sponsored visas. In 2024 the selected quota is 1,52,000. March 18 was the last date for Italy’s visa submissions, which became known as Click Day. Millions of young women from Bangladesh are applying for Italian visa by clicking through the internet. 21st March was to submit visa application for domestic work at home. Agriculture or Seasonal Sponsor Click Day will start on March 25. Today, millions of young women will click on the internet to apply for a visa in order to fulfill their dreams. The most important thing here is to submit these visa submission tasks through an efficient global agent. VFS Global manages the issue of visa application in the context of permission letter. It is also known from special sources that currently the number of application (Appointment Slot) applications submitted by the VFS authority is completely insufficient. As a result artificial crisis has started regarding appointment. A class of unscrupulous circles are taking advantage of this and are harassing and defrauding would-be Italian travelers. The view and action of the authorities of VFS Global is required in this regard. It should be noted here that workers from Bangladesh or people without any experience go to Italy and it is difficult because those people do not know the work and have little work experience. But on the other hand, those who work with the approval of the Embassy of Italy, through specific training, are given visas for the work they are good at. Being a visa submission professional, authorized global agents can apply for visas in the correct manner. As a result, visa applicants are more assured of obtaining a visa. In this case, taking the cooperation of VFS Global, one of the authorized nested agents of the Embassy of Italy, will make it easier and safer to obtain an Italian visa and the guarantee of obtaining a visa will be higher. In this case, attention is drawn to VFS Global. We hope that VFS Global will take appropriate steps to fulfill the dreams of millions of young men & women. We have learned from talking to people who have worked with VFS Global in the past when those who applied through VFS Global were much more assured of getting a visa. Our main problem now is that VFS Global is not releasing enough appointment slots. As a result, applicants are unable to apply for Italian visas despite high demand. Month after month of application is a chore and the public has expressed their anger on the streets to get rid of it. We are drawing the attention of the Italian Embassy that the authorities of VFS Global may take appropriate steps, thereby fulfilling the dreams of the applicants and speeding up the economic development of Bangladesh.
