C T Online Desk: A fire broke out at a footwear accessories factory adjacent to Textiles intersection under the port city’s Bayezid Bostami Police Station on Friday.
The incident was reported from second floor of the six-storey building of Korean Garments factory around 4:00pm, according to local fire officials.
Firefighter Shibli Sadiq of Fire Service and Civil Defence Bayezid Station said nine firefighting units from Bayezid, Agrabad and Chandanpura stations are working on dousing the blaze.
No casualties were reported. However, authorities are yet to ascertain the extent of damages, he added.
