UK to continue to support  marginalized people:BHC

C T Online Desk: British High Commissioner to Bangladesh,  Mr.Robert Chatterton, has said that the ongoing efforts to improve the living standards of marginalized people are truly commendable. As a result of such programs, the quality of life of marginalized people is improving. The British Government will continue to support the ongoing program. In particular, community and local government working together to build climate-tolerant infrastructure will be a source of inspiration for others. The impact of climate change on the world cannot be avoided by Bangladesh.

On Monday afternoon, after inspecting the construction activities of climate tolerant infrastructure under the Marginalized Community Development (MCD) project run by Chittagong City Corporation (CCC), he said this while exchanging views  with  the mayor of CCC Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, CCC sources said.
