C T Online Desk: Two people were killed as their houses collapsed in Cox’s Bazar due to the influence of the Cyclone Hamoon.
Director General Mizanur Rahman of the Disaster Management Directorate confirmed the matter on Tuesday night around 12:30.
He said, two people have died in Cox’s Bazar, we have confirmed it. They died after being crushed under the wall of their houses. One of them is in Sadar Upazila and the other is in Maheshkhali.
The local administration has also received their name and identification, he added.
