C T Online Desk: Chattogram Port Authority celebrated the birth anniversary of Shaheed Sheikh Rasel and Shaheed Sheikh Rasel Day on wednesday last at Port Bhaban premises in a befitting manner . In observation of the day, CPA had drawn daylong different programmes . Floral wreath was placed in the portrait of shaheed Sheikh Rasel at 12 noon and birthday cake was cutted at 12.30 pm at Bandar bhaban premises followed by Doa Mahfil. The Port chairman Rear Admiral Mohammed Sohael graced the occasion as chief guest. Besides, all departmental heads, officials. CBA leaders and staffs all stages were present in the function of Sheikh Rasel Day. After Zohr prayer, doa mahfil was also arranged at all mosques of CPA and schools and colleges under CPA. On the other hand, eassy competition, quiz and drawing competition also arranged in all educational institutions of CPA. A friendly cricket match was also held at Bandar stadium with the participation of students of Port’s school and college, sources said.
