Formation of  Minority Commission this month demanded

C T Online Desk: According to the announcement, the National Minority Commission should be formed by October. Otherwise, there will be a mass meeting and new programs in Dhaka in November. Organizing Secretary of the Central Committee Shyamal Kumar Palit said these things at the meeting of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad, Chittagong Metropolitan and Chittagong North District branches at Chittagong Press Club premises on Friday (October 6).

The speakers strongly demanded the government to implement the vested property law, enact minority protection law, form a separate land commission for the minority groups of the plains and enact an anti-discrimination law, as promised in the 2018 election manifesto of the government party, to take swift action in the proper implementation of the Hills  Peace Accord.. .

They  sought cooperation from all for the smooth and peaceful celebration of the upcoming Autumn Durgo Festival and urged political parties to refrain from organizing programs during Durga Festival. After the rally, the protest procession circled the important roads of the city and ended at Cheragi intersection in port city .
