C T Online Desk: Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) has taken initiative to name Oxygen Junction after Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Chattar of the city.
City Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury in his address of the chair proposed to rename Oxygen circle as the Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Chattar at the 13th general meeting of the 6th council of CCC held in the auditorium of KB Abduch Sattar of Anderkilla on Sunday which was unanimously approved.
Besides, the Mayor directed the concerned department to make the Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Chattar of Love Lane of the city and the late Professor Md Khaled Chattar, editor of Daily Azadi, a sight to behold.
Moderated by CCC CEO Mohammad Shahidul Alam,panel mayor Gias Uddin, Afroza Kalam, Secretary Khaled Mahmud, Chief Revenue Officer Nazrul Islam, Chief Education Officer Lutfun Nahar, Private Secretary to the Mayor Muhammad Abul Hashem, Chief Engineer Rafiqul Islam Manik and other councilors and reserved councilors among others spoke on the occasion.
