C T Online Desk: Nineteen student organisations including Jatiya Chhatra Dal have decided to form a coalition to wage anti-government movement demanding the next parliamentary polls to be held under non-party caretaker administration.
However, the alliance will not include Islami Chhatra Shibir, student organisation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
Leaders of opposition BNP’s student wing Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal and 18 other likeminded organisations held a view exchange meeting at BNP central office in capital Sunday night.
However, Chhatra Shibir, student wing of an anti-liberation and anti-government organisation was not present at the meeting.
Other student organisations are Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, Nagorik Chhatra Oikya, Bangladesh Chhatra Federation, Islami Chhatra Andolon, Bangladesh Chhatra League (JSD), Bhasani Chhatra Parishad, Chhatra Mission, JAGPA Chhatra League, Gonotantrik Chhatra Andolon, Jatiya Chhtra Samaj, Khelafat Chhatra Majlis, Chhatra Jamiat Bangladesh, Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Majlis, Chhatra Andolon (NDM), Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Samaj, Gonotantrik Chhatra Dal (LDP), Chhatra Forum and Jatiya Chhatra Samaj and Jatiya Party (Kazi Zafar).
