C T Online Desk: Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) held a view-exchange meeting in Joypurhat on Friday for strengthening the organisational unity of the traditional trade body.
District unit president Nurun Nobi Dewan chaired the meeting held at Haque convention center in the northern town.
BAJUS former president Dr Dilip Kumar Roy attended the programme as the chief guest while BAJUS vice-president Reponul Hasan, former treasurer Pabitra Ranjan Ghosh and standing committee member Enamul Haque Sohel were present at the event as the special guests.
Addressing on the occasion, Dr Dilip Kumar Roy has termed BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir as architect of modern jewellary in Bangladesh.
“BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir has reshaped the gold industry of the country through his prudent leadership. The trade body is transforming into a smart organisation. All the gold traders of the country are getting the benefit,” he said.
Joypurhat district unit general secretary Ranjit Kumar Saha moderated the discussion.
