The newly appointed chairman of the Chittagong Port Authority, Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail, spoke of this on Tuesday (August 22).

The goal is to become the center of transportation of regional goods.
There are many bends in the Karnaphuli river. This is a natural channel. I hope that a 11 –meter draft ship will be able to float in the next year. For this, it has to stop waste in the river.
