C T Online Desk: Feb 22, 2022- The number of recovered Covid-19 patients reached 1,10,802 with the recovery of 206 more people till Tuesday morning, raising the average recovery rate to 87.84 percent in the district.
Meanwhile, Chattogram district recorded Covid-19 positivity rate of 2.42 percent while 61 fresh cases were reported after testing 2,512 samples during the last 24 hours till this morning.
With the diagnosis of 61 new cases, the total number of Covid-19 patients climbed to 1,26,146 in Chattogram district, Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram told BSS today.
With no new deaths recorded during the period, the death toll steady at 1,362.
A total of 741 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different designated hospitals here.
