C T Online Desk: Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel met the cleaners Aarti Das and Mithun Das who lost three girls in the fire in Chittagong. He went to Sevak Colony on Patharghata Bundel Road in the city on Saturday afternoon. At that time he promised to support the Aarti Das couple financially.

Earlier, Naufel donated 50,000 rupees from personal funds for the treatment of three sisters who were burnt immediately after the fire. City Mayor M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury met the Aarti-Mithun couple on July 16 and expressed their condolences.
On the morning of June 20, Mithun-Aarti couple went to work. Then their four daughters were burnt by the gas fire of the cooking stove. Later on June 24, maid girl Saksi Das (11) died in ICU of Chittagong Medical College Hospital. A week later, another girl Sarathi Das died at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. Last, on July 12, six-year-old Happy Das died in the institute.
When other residents of Bundel Colony approached the Deputy Minister of Education on this day and told them about their various problems, he assured them to solve them quickly.
