No conspiracy can hinder development of Sheikh Hasina: Rongdhanu Group Chairman

C T Online Desk: Rongdhanu Group Chairman Alhaj Rafiqul Islam has said no conspiracy can hinder the development works of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu.

He made the remarks on behalf of Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan while addressing as the chief guest of the discussion meeting marking the 74th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League.

The programme was organised by Awami League and allied organisations at the temporary office of Rongdhanu Group located in Naora area of Kayetpara Union in Rupganj of Narayanganj.

Pointing to leaders and activists present in the meeting, he said, “If you want to remain in peace, the ‘Boat’ symbol should be kept in order. We can do business in peace today as Awami League government is in power. Many conspiracies persist in the country. You have to be alert so that no conspiracy can break us. We all must be united to build resistance.”

Alhaj Rafiqul Islam told people of Rupganj, “I will do everything for the people of Rupganj. I am doing as much as I can under the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. You want change in Rupganj. So, we will organise a huge rally in Rupganj within the next 15 days. Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan along with several MPs and ministers will be present there.”

The meeting was presided over by senior vice-president of Kayetpara Union Awami League, brave freedom fighter Shamsul Alam. Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan’s Chief Political Secretary Sheikh Sayed was present on the occasion.

Former Zila Parishad member and Rongdhanu Group director Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Kayetpara Union Awami League general secretary Advocate Abdul Awal, Rupganj Upazila Awami League former office secretary Karim Pathan, businessman Raju Hasan Alek, Kayetpara Union Awami League joint general secretary Alauddin, Union Awami League organising secretary Altaf Hossain, Kayetpara Union Awami Volunteers League former president Mohiuddin, Kayetpara no 1 Ward UP member Jasim Uddin, Iman Ali, Jubo League leader Billal Hossain, former UP member Noor Mohammad, Kayetpara Union Jubo Mahila League president Sharmin Akter,

Kayetpara Union Awami Mahila League general secretary Sahida Akter, Tarabo Municipality Awami Jubo League general secretary Mina Akter, among others, were present.

About 220 brave freedom fighters including Md Fazlul Karim Mollah, Kazi Monir Hossain, AKM Gulzar Hossain, Aliullah, Abu Saeed Bhuiyan participated in the event.
