C T Online Desk: Doctor Samina Akhter, who was seriously injured in an autorickshaw collision in Chittagong, died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
Samina (45) died at the ICU on Thursday morning, said the hospital’s assistant director. Rajiv Palit informed.
At around 10 pm on Tuesday, an autorickshaw hit the front of the Radisson Blu Hotel adjacent to the MA Aziz Stadium in the city and fell off the rickshaw. Samina.
He was admitted to the ICU of Chittagong Medical College Hospital in critical condition. He underwent surgery on his head at night. He was later taken to life support.
Dr. Samina could not be saved. Rajiv Palit said, “His life support was opened on Thursday morning.”
Dr. Samina was a doctor in the ICU of Bangabandhu Memorial Hospital, Chittagong University of Science and Technology (USTC).
She is survived by her husband, a daughter and a son.
