C T Online Desk: The newly appointed Chairman of Chittagong PortAuthority , Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail, paid tributes at the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Last Saturday under the leadership of CPA Chairman Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail, , Port Member (Engineering) Commodore Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman (E), PSC, BN, Member (Finance) Mr. Mohammad Shahidul Alam (Additional Secretary ), Member (Harbor and Marine) Commodore M. Fazlar Rahman (C), BSP, PSC, BN, Director (Administration) Mr. Md. Mominur Rashid (Deputy Secretary), Secretary Md. Omar Farooq along with senior officers of CPA and President and General Secretary of Chittagong Port Employees Parishad laid wreath at Bangabandhu’s grave at Tungipara, Gopalganj. He expressed deep respect to the father of the nation. After that, at the end of the visit to the shrine, prayers were held for the souls of all the martyrs of the Bangabandhu family, including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who were martyred on August 15. In addition, good health and long life of the Honorable Prime Minister are also prayed for the welfare of the country and the nation and prosperity for future generations, a CPA sources said.
