C T Online Desk: May 9, 2023- Newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) from the Chittagong-8 constituency Noman Al Mahmud took the oath of office at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here today.
Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath to Noman, elected in the by-poll with the ruling Awami League’s ticket, in her office at Sangsad Bhaban this afternoon, said a press release here this afternoon.
Parliament Secretariat Senior Secretary KM Abdus Salam conducted the oath
taking ceremony.
After taking the oath, the newly-elected MP Noman Al Mahmoud signed the oath book according to the custom, the release added.
Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury and senior officials
were present, among others.
