C T Online Desk: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 21kg of crystal meth, known as ice, from Cox’s Bazar early today, in the biggest seizure of the drug in the country.
A team of BGB 34 Battalion carried out a drive at Balukhali area in Ukhiya upazila around 4:00am and also arrested three persons including a top drug smuggler named Buzruk, says a press release sent by the force.
It is the biggest ever haul seized in the county, it said.
The BGB will hold a press conference later in the day in this regard.
