With the construction and commissioning of the Kaliganj Bridge, the area has now come to light from a state of darkness. Opportunity has been created to build an industrial city in that area. With the implementation of one project after another for the last 12 years, the area has now become a potential for an industrial city.
In this regard, Shamsul Haque Chowdhury, Whip of Jatiya Sangsad and Member of Parliament for Patiya, said that the once undeveloped area has now become a city due to the implementation of Kaliganj Bridge. Anwara with Patiya, a bridge has been built between the people of these two upazilas. This region of Kashiash will be developed as an industrial city. Jatiya Sangsad Whip Shamsul Haque Chowdhury inaugurated the bridge on Saturday afternoon. Patiya Upazila Chairman Motaherul Islam Chowdhury, Chittagong Road Circle Supervising Engineer Zahid Hossain, Dohazari Roads Department Executive Engineer Sumon Singh, District Council Panel Chairman Debabrata Das, Upazila Awami League President AKM Samsuzzaman, Deputy Divisional Engineer Jamal Uddin, UP Chairman Aminul Islam Tipu and others were present on the occasion.
