C T Online Desk: In the name of nationwide BNP movement, protest march and stand program was held on Saturday under the leadership of Chittagong Jubo League organizer Yasir Arafat as part of the central program under the direction of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parsh to protest against terrorism, violent politics, attacks on people and police.
The procession went around various roads including Kotwali More, Newmarket, Station Road and turned into a rally in front of Darul Fazal Market.
Yasir Arafat, a former student leader, said in the rally that the Awami League government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is jealous of the development of the country and in order to destabilize the stable environment in the country, the BNP-Jamaat has once again resorted to violence in the name of agitation. In this language month, Bengali must gain the strength to face the challenge.
