C T Online Desk: The Holy Shab-e-Barat of Muslims will be observed in the country on the night of March 7 as the Sha’ban moon was sighted in Bangladesh’s sky today.

The decision came from a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on Tuesday evening, says a press release of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan presided over the meeting.
