Pahela Phalgun  celebrated  in Ctg  with zeal & enthusiasm

C T Online Desk: Little by little, new leaves are sprouting on the leafy trees. With the arrival of spring, not only nature, but also people get dressed up with nature after breaking the inertia of winter.
That’s why the poet said, “Let the flowers bloom or not, it’s spring.”
The description of Rituraj Vasant doesn’t end with any color streak. However, there is no end to the efforts of nature lovers in Basantabandana.

Pahela Phalgun is an integral part of Bengali culture. Even Hindu mythology and folktales mention this festival. However, since the time of the world poet Rabindranath Tagore, the tradition of celebrating Vasanthasav through special dance songs has been going on in Santiniketan. Various organizations are holding various events in the city to welcome spring by saying goodbye to winter.

Bodhan Aurti Parishad and Bodhan Aurti School organized the Vasantvaran Utsav under the theme ‘Nibir Antartar Basant Elo Prane’ at Andarkilla intersection in the city. These include processions, recitations, music, instrumental music, dance and drumming.

Apart from this, Prama Basant Utsav has started in the morning at Mukta Mancha of CRB’s Shishisthala.

Meanwhile, Bodhan Recital Parishad, Chittagong organized colorful programs in Sheikh Russell Park. Along with solo and ensemble recitals, group music and group dances are being performed by artists from various cultural organizations. Besides, traditional musicians will perform Rabindra, Nazrul, modern and folk songs.
