If the treatment is started in time, it is possible to cure the deadly disease from cancer. Work is underway to build a people’s cancer hospital with public money to ensure complete cancer treatment for more than two crore people in Chittagong.
“We are establishing a hospital with state-of-the-art facilities for cancer treatment,” said MA Malek, editor of Dainik Azadi, chairman of the implementation committee of the Chittagong Ma O Shishu Hospital Cancer Institute.
This hospital is for the people of Chittagong. The establishment of this hospital will be taken forward with the participation of people from all walks of life in Chittagong. He called on people from all walks of life to come forward for the Maternal and Child Hospital Cancer Institute, adding that many people have already paid for it. With which we are taking forward the construction activities of the hospital. He thanked the government, including Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, for providing the necessary land for the hospital.
The discussion was organized by the Department of Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy of Chittagong Maternal and Child Hospital on the occasion of World Cancer Day under the chairmanship of Prof. MA Taher Khan, President of the Executive Committee.
