C T Online Desk: Deputy Education Minister Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel said that technical education is playing an important role in the country’s economy. Practical education or life skills along with moral education is a must for everyone. That is why honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked to spread technical education in general education.
He said this while inaugurating a free outsourcing training program for 150 students at the theater institute auditorium in the city on Saturday morning.On the occasion, the Deputy Minister said that the country’s technical education system needs to be further developed.
The government is proceeding with the work of setting up new institutes to fill the vacant posts of teaching staff in the technical sector. Ensuring quality technical education is one of the priorities of the government. To ensure quality technical education, various initiatives have already been taken including changing the curriculum, increasing the number of effective and subject-oriented courses as per the needs of the industry.
He also said that employment will be much easier if people are trained in technical education along with general education.
