C T Online Desk: The International Conference on the Progress of Physics Education and Research in the Country in 50 Years begins Saturday organized by the Department of Physics at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Independence and Mujib Year.
The theme of the two-day conference is ‘Fourth International Conference on Physics for Sustainable Development and Technology’ (ICPSDT-2022).Apart from Bangladesh, the conference will bring together hundreds of physics teachers, researchers, scientists, professionals and entrepreneurs from 10 countries including the United States, Canada, China, Norway, India and Japan. In addition to physics, articles will be presented on ‘Sustainable Development and Technology’, a topic related to technology and the current world. The theme of the conference is – Advance of Physics Education and Research in Celebration of Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh.This information was given by conference Secretary Prof. Maruf at a press conference at the West Gallery auditorium of CUET on Thursday. Conference Chair and Head of the Department of Physics, Professor Mohammad Belal Hossain, Technical Secretary of the Conference and Associate Professor of Physics Swapan Kumar Roy, Treasurer of the Conference and Associate Professor of Physics Md. Ashraf Ali were present among others.
