C T Online Desk: The Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) has cleared hundreds of illegal structures in the area under Bayezid Thana of Chittagong city.
On Wednesday, Special Court Magistrate Tahmina Afroz Chowdhury conducted the eviction operation up to about 1 kilometer from the gate of Journalist Housing Society. Confirming the matter, Peshkar Faiz Ahmed of CDA said that an eviction operation was carried out in the morning from the gate of Journalist Housing Society to about 1 km opposite Bayezid police station. About a hundred illegal structures were evicted.
