CCC schools, colleges directed to follow hygiene rules

C T Online Desk: CCC Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury has urged to run the educational institution following the 11-point restrictions imposed by the government to control the way the new type of corona is spreading across the country.

He instructed the teachers and parents to conduct direct and online classes through proper adherence to the hygiene rules of the students in view of increasing the corona infection.

The Mayor gave the instructions while addressing the fourth meeting of the board of directors of Chittagong City Corporation Municipal School and College at CCC’s office in Tiger Pass on Monday (January 17) morning.

Private Secretary to the Mayor Muhammad Abul Hashem, Member Secretary of the Governing Body Principal Shahedul Kabir Chowdhury, Guardian Representative Mujibur Rahman, Shahed Hossain, Israt Farhana, Teacher Representative Abdul Haq, Mahrendu Narayan Dhar were present on the occasion.

The Mayor said that the immunization program of students across the country is going on very fast. Teachers and parents have to play a role for the students to take part in this activity. Educational institutions will have to come forward to implement the government’s plan to give at least one dose of vaccine to 12-16 year old students by January 31.

He urged the teachers of Municipal School and College to be more focused on teaching.The minutes of the last meeting were approved in the meeting. Besides, MPO registration of school and college teachers, increase in student seats, land issues were also discussed, CCC sources said.
