C T Online Desk: A target of vaccinating 3 lakh 70 thousand people in Chittagong district has been set on the Covid-19 booster dose (3rd dose) vaccination day.
District Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Ilyas Chowdhury disclosed it on Saturday.
This program of booster doses will be conducted throughout the day from 9 am on Tuesday (July 19). The Pfizer vaccine will be used as a booster dose.
It is known that the target of giving 3 lakh booster doses by 500 doses in 600 wards of 200 unions of 15 upazilas of Chittagong district has been fixed. Besides, there is a plan to provide 1500 to 21000 vaccinations in 14 upazila health complexes. Three teams will work in each upazila health complex. 47 thousand dose boosters have been allocated for the Chittagong City Corporation area.
