For  Cox’s Bazar Wind Power Project : A giant wind turbine fan comes at Ctg port

C T Online Desk:  The fan of wind turbine of Cox’s Bazar wind power project arrived at Chittagong port.

The first shipment of a huge amount of machinery including giant turbine blades of the country’s latest and largest Cox’s Bazar wind power project has arrived at Chittagong port.

On Friday (July 15) at four o’clock in the afternoon, the ship named “Shin Da Jong” of COSCO Shipping Line arrived at the port’s GCB-6 jetty.

Chittagong port’s own pilot Nurul Alam brought the ship from the outer anchor as per the rules. The port’s powerful tug boats Kandari-8 and 12 assisted in this work.
Riazuddin Khan, chairman of the ship’s local agent, told the media that the ship is owned by the Chinese government. It carried 900 tonnes of equipment including turbine blades of the first consignment of Cox’s Bazar wind power project. .
