C T Online Desk: June 27, 2022- A total of 66 people were detected positive for Covid-19 during last 24 hours after testing 937 samples in 12 Covid-19 laboratories in the city and district today.
The Covid-19 infection rate is 7.04 percent till this morning.
The total number of Covid-19 patients climbed to 1,27,012 in Chattogram district after detecting 66 new patients, Dr Ilias Chowdhury, Civil Surgeon of Chattogram told BSS.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients reached to 1,25,314 with the recovery of 37 more people till this morning rose the average recovery rate to 98.85 percent in the district.
With no new death recorded during the period, the death toll steady at 1,362.
A total of 75 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different designated hospitals here.
