C T Online Desk: Bashundhara Group driven by humanitarian gesture has given emergency reliefs for the people affected by the devastating floods in Sylhet and Kanaighat.
As per directive of Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, the high officials of the largest business conglomerate went to the areas and stood by the flood affected people on Friday.
They handed over 5,500 packets of relief to the district administration in Sylhet and distributed 2,500 packets in Kanaighat.
Earlier, Bashundhara Group disabused 12,000 packets in Sylhet on two occasions.
Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Md Mozibor Rahman and district relief and rehabilitation officer Md Nurul Islam received the relief packets from the officials of the Bashundhara Group.
Foreign Adviser to Bashundhara Group Dr Sazzad Haider, Head of Public Relation Officer Sheikh Mohammad Mizanur Rahman and Secretary to Managing Director Aminul Islam, among others, were present.
