Sitakunda blast patients to suffer from long term eye problem: Doctors

C T Online Desk: Ophthalmologist and Secretary General of the Swadinata Chikitshak Parishad Dr. MA Aziz said most of the patients injured in the blast at the BM container depot in Sitakunda will suffer from long-term eye problems.

He told reporters in the conference room of the director of CMC Hospital around 10:30 am on Thursday (June 9). He said, “I have seen 63 patients injured in the Sitakunda blast and undergoing treatment in Dhaka and Chittagong.” It seems that most patients will suffer from long-term eye problems even if they recover early. They must be in regular checkups.

SCP Secretary-General said that despite such a humanitarian catastrophe, one quarter was trying to call it a murder by disputing it. There must be some mistakes and incoherence, there will be criticism. But criticism should not be done in a way that harms the society.
