C T Online Desk: Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) wants Chinese investment in Ocean Amusement Park, power generation from waste and LED lighting project in the city on the proposed 36-acre land in North Kattali Ward No. 10 of the city.
City Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury made the proposal during a courtesy call on Chinese Ambassador Mr. Li Jimming.
City Mayor said quite interested in these matters. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said, “As a coastal area of Chittagong, there are opportunities for investment in various sectors including natural calamities, urban waterlogging, waste management, beautification, tourism industry, garments industry, power plants and many Chinese citizens are involved in various development activities in Chittagong.”
He called on China to invest in the plan to build an ocean amusement park on the vacant land at North Kattali in port city, including a visit to the site, and sought China’s cooperation in making the port city of Chittagong a clean, aesthetic, green and safe city.
