C T Online Desk: Senior correspondent of Daily Samakal Rajib Ahmed, winner of the Bashundhara Media Award-2021 in the women and children category, has said the initiative of Bashundhara Group will take country’s journalism to new heights.
He made the remark after receiving the award at a gala event marking the occasion at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital Monday evening.
In an instant reaction, Rajiv Ahmed said, “This award is definitely an honour and a source of pride. I convey my thanks to Bashundhara Group for nominating me.”
“I would like to thank all the people involved in my organisation for their support and cooperation.”
He also thanked his family and said, “I am able to do journalism freely with the support of my wife and children.”
